Get your hands in the clay and create something truly sweet! In this cozy, beginner-friendly hand-building class, you’ll design and build your own ceramic honey jar complete with adorable clay bee appliqués.

We’ll guide you step-by-step as you hand-build the jar form, create a fitted lid, and learn how to hand-build small clay bees and properly score, slip, and attach them to your piece. No prior clay experience is needed — this class is all about creativity, texture, and enjoying the process.

Each honey jar will be paired with a plain wooden honey dipper, allowing your handmade clay bees to be the star of the design. Your finished piece will be fully functional, food-safe once glazed, and perfect for your kitchen or as a heartfelt handmade gift.

After the class, your piece will be dried, fired, and ready for glazing. Once it’s out of the kiln, you’ll be invited back during open studio hours to glaze your honey jar at no additional cost.
