Pottery Painting Techniques Day is part of our Spring Break Creative Experience and is designed for kids who love experimenting with color, texture, and creative techniques.
During this hands-on session, kids will paint a coordinated three-piece pottery set while learning multiple professional pottery painting techniques used in ceramic studios.
What Kids Will Create
Each participant will complete three ceramic projects:
- 🥣 Bowl – Shaving cream marbling technique
- ☕ Cup – Bubble blowing glaze technique
- 🏺 Vase – Jungle gems and texture accents
Together, these pieces form a matching set that kids will be proud to use and display.

- Shaving cream glaze marbling

- Brush control, layering, and color blending
Our instructors guide each step while encouraging creativity and personal expression.
After the Session
All projects will be:

Professionally glaze fired in our kilns

Ready for pickup approximately 10 days after the session
Families will be notified when artwork is finished and ready to take home.

Spring Break Creative Experience – Cancellation Policy
Because Spring Break Creative Experiences require advance staffing, materials, and kiln scheduling, the following cancellation policy applies:

Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least three (3) weeks before the scheduled session.

Studio credit is available if cancellation is made at least one (1) week before the scheduled session.

Cancellations made within one (1) week of the session are non-refundable.
If your child is unable to attend, you may transfer the registration to another child (such as a sibling or family member) by notifying the studio prior to the session, provided the replacement child meets the age requirements.
Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
